Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference 2023
September 22 – September 24

“Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire” – Gustav Mahler.
The Mackinac Leadership Conference is a Republican tradition that first began in 1943. We, as Republicans, gather every two years to discuss policy, connect with fellow Republicans, and build team comradery for the purpose of winning elections. Winning elections isn’t about Republicans winning for the sake of wielding power. We must win elections to protect our children’s future.
The preamble to the Republican Party platform states, “We believe in the Constitution as our founding document. We believe the Constitution was written not as a flexible document but as our enduring covenant.”
This year’s conference will be about honoring the traditions of our beloved party, learning from Republicans who have been in this fight for decades, strategizing a future of American excellence, and cultivating the next generation of Republican thought leaders, party leaders, activists, and elected officials. My desire is for the conference to assist in healing our party as we rally around what unites us as Republicans— our party platform, the US Constitution, and building a future of excellence. Cheers to victory!
