CG Flips is a non-profit group started by a couple of moms in Genesee County in Dec 2021.
Our first action item was raising funds to file a lawsuit against our county health Director and county health department, we had a fundraiser dinner in April and we are hosting a “Family Freedom Fest” with numerous America First candidates this summer.
Our Mission;
To educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities in order to uphold the constitutions of both Michigan and the United States; and to arm the citizens of the United States with the knowledge of how to hold government officials accountable at every level of government.
Our Purpose:
To promote civic action and involvement in the community in order to restore the republic and the freedom of its citizens.
Our Vision:
To create a community where its citizens are free and the power comes from the people, there is limited government control.
MORE TO KNOW ABOUT GC FLIPS FROM OUR UNITE FOR MICHIGAN Q&A:
Q. If you were not in your current role/endeavor, what would you be doing instead?
A. If we were not currently working with GC FLIPS we would have a lot more time to spend living the “life of a mom.” We’d still be working & continuing to take care of our families, just with more free time to spend doing the things we all enjoy.
Q. What has been the biggest impact in your industry or life in the last 5 years?
A. The biggest impact that has affected us over the last 5 years has unfortunately been the conditions of our state & country, causing the need for us to open our non-profit. We have realized that we can have a positive impact on our community & that is something that we feel very passionately about.
Q. Where do you see yourself or business in 5 years?
A. In 5 years, we see ourselves continuing to run GC FLIPS. Our mission is to educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities in order to uphold the constitutions of both Michigan and the United States; and to arm the citizens of the United States with the knowledge of how to hold government officials accountable at every level of government. We all need to play an active role in the community where we work, live & raise our families.
Q. Who do you most admire or are inspired by, and why?
A. We admire all of the “regular everyday people” that have stepped up to help make a positive impact on MI & the United States. There are several things that we need to address in this world & so many people have stepped up to make a difference & it’s such a wonderful thing to be a part of.
Q. What organization is top on your list to provide support?
A. The people that have supported us are all of the “Mama Bears” & fellow Patriots in our community & across the state. There are also some local businesses & government officials that have shown us a tremendous amount of support as well.
Q. What is the biggest need you face in your business or organization today?
A. The biggest need we face today is a place (or platform) to get our message out & have our voices be heard. Nobody wants to feel like they are in “this” alone so helping people make connections & meeting new people ourselves has been important & it’s not always the easiest thing to do.
