JD Glaser, candidate for MIGOP Chair, was born in Portland, Oregon.  After a thirty-year career in software engineering, working as a computer security expert, a speaker and trainer for Black Hat Security for four years, a builder of network security tools companies, and a venture capitalist fundraiser, JD retired to Cass County, Michigan, fifteen years ago.  He also authored the book Secure Development for Mobile Apps.

For his political experience, JD has been a delegate for Cass County and a member of the Executive Committee there.  In 2020, JD trained others throughout the state about election fraud and legal issues. In 2022, he ran trainings on Robert’s Rules which he considers, “a critical step to taking back control by participating in the political process.”  He has also worked with the groups Election Integrity Force and Michigan Election Integrity Network helping people understand the law, sort out evidence, and file actual complaints where violations had been found. With James Stewart, JD has successfully run large seminars for delegate training and has appeared several times on podcasts held by James.

In his personal life, JD is married to Wendy, a native Michigander. JD and Wendy have one son who is currently serving the country as a United States Marine.  JD’s faith is an integral part of his life and a motivating force for his interest in working politically to help his state and his country.
