Jonathan Einwechter started the store Naturally A Deal in 2014 and has also provided a delivery service to their clients for several years. They specialize in closeout food (especially natural foods at prices far below retail level), and carry a nice selection of bulk foods plus fresh, seasonal produce. Their inventory is always changing, due to the nature of the closeout market, so shopping with them is like a treasure hunt!
Based in East Tennessee, they currently deliver to locations in 7 different states, including four towns in Michigan! With the growing demand, they’re looking to expand their current route in order to increase the number of families who can buy from them. Click here to see their current locations, and contact them if you’d like them to start coming to your area for a monthly drop-off!

MORE TO KNOW ABOUT NATURALLY A DEAL & JONATHAN EINWECHTER FROM OUR UNITE FOR MICHIGAN Q&A:
Q. If you were not in your current role/endeavor, what would you be doing instead?
A. Personally, my passion is to serve people’s physical needs, which is partly why I like making affordable food available to families. But if I wasn’t doing this, I would like to do what I’ve volunteered for several times before – disaster cleanup, to help those in crisis during some of their darkest hours.
Q. What has been the biggest impact in your industry or life in the last 5 years?
A. Our business has really increased since early 2020. As people saw empty grocery shelves in regular stores, as well as disagreeing with some of the COVID policies, they started looking for alternate food sources; and we were the one many chose to shop at.
Q. Where do you see yourself or business in 5 years?
A. We would like to be serving thousands of families, in hundreds of cities, a whole range of foods, including many sourced directly from farms.
Q. Who do you most admire or are inspired by, and why?
A. Many people have inspired me, but R.G. Letourneau, who invented much of the large earth-moving equipment used today, is one of the people I admire the most. His dedication of his business to the Lord and his vast generosity was incredible.
Q. What organization is top on your list to provide support?
A. My friend, Jonathan Lueken, who’s from the US but has lived for several years in South Sudan and married Joyce, a girl from that country, while over there. They’re hoping to go back to Africa as missionaries once they can get everything arranged and the Lord makes a way.
Q. What is the biggest need you face in your business or organization today?
A. The need for larger infrastructure to handle our rapid growth.
